Sekiro Shadows Die Twice DLC – 7 Gameplay features we want FromSoftware to add to the game (Pic: FromSoftware)

The latest game from FromSoftware – the creators of the exceptionally good Dark Souls and Bloodborne – has taken 2019 by storm.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a perhaps their best game yet from the famed developers and is the pinnacle of all the lessons they have been teaching us throughout their games.

It is also hard as nails and demands damn near perfect timing and the patience of a saint.

While there is no word on DLC as of yet, every other game theyve released in recent years has had some.

So whilst we wait for confirmation, here is a little wishlist of 7 features we'd like to see in any potential content drops.

1. More accessibility Options

Sekiro is hard, like, really, really hard. Thats a huge part of its charm. The moment when you have finally overcome the last boss is euphoric in a way that only FromSoft games are. However, the speed of reflexes the game requires of you is a little restrictive. When a game is this good it should be played by everyone.

It would be great to see some better accessibility options so that more people can see if they like Sekiro. Maybe longer parry windows for those who struggle with the pace of the game. Maybe a slow-motion mode where fights are still tough, but you can slow things down. Games are meant to be enjoyed, so they should be available to everyone.

2. Playing as Genichiro

What if the DLC just had you running through the story from Genichiros side of things. They could use all the same areas and give him a more traditional move set. Then have the story him as the protagonist instead.

Using his bow and blade to attack would add an entirely new dimension to things. Plus, you could access his Tomoe style after you resurrect.

3. One hit kills

Sword fights are much more likely to end in a single strike, rather than through a war of attrition. While the Posture system already has an element of this within it, what if FromSoftware took it a step further.

Instead of being able to whittle an enemies health down, what if it comes down to one strike, both for you and them. This would make some of the fights nearly impossible, but it would be amazing.

4. New areas

The story hints at a few other areas that we could maybe visit if the DLC were set after the story. However, the game also already has a system in place for visiting places in the past.

This gives access to a potentially infinite number of options that you could play with. What if you got to fight alongside Lady Butterfly in the past, or stand shoulder to shoulder with Owl?

5. New bosses

This one is kind of a given. If there is going to be DLC for Sekiro then there need to be new bosses. The boss variety in Sekiro is already pretty outstandingRead More – Source
