The original cast of the rock musical School Of Rock reunited for a New Years party – but were missing their inspiring leader Jack Brown.

James Hosey (Marco), Brian Falduto (Billy), Becca Brown (Katie), Zachary Infante (Gordon), Aleisha Lanae Allen (Alicia), Caitlin Hale (Marta) and Angelo Massagli (Frankie) all hung out together in Wilfie & Nell in the West Village for food and drink before the big night.

Yep – those kids from the film are now old enough to hang out in bars and buy their own drinks.

The cast members stay in touch through a group text, Becca – who played bass player Katie – told TMZ, and said when seven of them realised they would be in NYC at the same time it only made sense but to hang out.

A look through their Instagram accounts also reveals that Caitlin – who played choir singer Marta – and Angelo, the bands security, are now dating in real life.

The 2003 film follows Jack Blacks struggling rock guitarist Dewey Finn who disguises himself as a substitute teacher at a posh prep school when he finds himself in desperate need of money.

But after witnessing the musical talent of his fourth-grade students, he decides to teach them all how to rock and roll and enters them into a Battle of the Bands competition.

The film became a huge success and was the highest-grossing music-themed comedy of all time, until 2015 when it was overtaken by Pitch Perfect 2.

In 2013, Andrew Lloyd-Webber turned the film into a stage musical; it won a Laurence Olivier award and has been nominated for four Tony Awards.
