"I know that she would be an excellent Governor."Davis later followed that up with another tweet, saying, "I'm excited to support someone I have (known) for 20 years to be one of the most intelligent and caring people in my life!"Kim Cattrall was asked by a fan on Twitter about Nixon's run, and she tweeted, "I support & respect any former colleague's right to make their own career choices.""Sex and the City" costume designer Patricia Field told Page Six that Nixon "is an original.""She never went for the fame," Field said. "She's a New York City mom, very practical and down-to-earth. She doesn't buy anything you have to dry-clean."Nixon told People she's grateful for the support she has received. "We worked on an incredible series for many years together, and my colleagues' ongoing support for my years of activism, and now my campaign, means a lot to me," the actress and activist said.
