Nintendo and Deep Silver has announced that Saints Row: The Third will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
In a Twitter post during Gamescom 2018, the publisher announced the popular sandbox game will be coming to the hybrid console – though more information was not revealed.
Somewhat cryptically, Deep Silver announced that 'More info to be revealed in due course' – though we have absolutely no idea when that will be.
Saints Row: The Third originally released in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 and was followed up by Saints Row IV in 2015 – though there's nothing mentioned about that coming to Switch just yet.

Saints Row: The Third – What is it?
Saints Row: The Third is an open world action-adventure video game developed by Volition and published by THQ.
It is the third title in the Saints Row series, and as in the previous games, the player-character leads the Third Streets Saints gang in a turf war against three rival gangs using a variety of weapons and vehicles in single-player and co-operative play.
Many people consider the game a sillier, less serious version of Grand Theft Auto, and as the title has evolved, the developer has leaned more into that setup – celebrating silly weapons, nonsense physics and aloof storylines.
The game is known for its high level of customisation, and madcap storyline and released to generally positive reviews.

Saints Row: The Third – Is it any good?
Saints Row: The Third got generally favourable reviews when it launched on Xbox 360 and PS3.
The game landed at 82 on Metacritic, though opnionson the title in reviews came across in a more balanced manner. Edge, for example, said that the series "wants to be the WarioWare of open-city games", "a cartoon flipbook of anything-goes extremity" to Grand Theft Auto's "ostentatious crime drama"
Following up on a similar note, Dan Whitehead of Eurogamer wrote that Grand Theft Auto IV's serious turn let the Saints Row series be a "gleeful silly sandbox game", and noted that Saints Row: The Third was "marketed almost exclusively" based on its wackiness, from the costumes to the sex toy weapons.
Many critics noted that the game was easy – so don't worry about difficulty if you're keen on playing the game on Switch.
