Rockstar News: Red Dead 2 Online Surprise Update, GTA Online & Red Dead Redemption 2 Boost (Pic: ROCKSTAR)

Rockstar's latest smash hit, Red Dead Redemption 2 successfully launched the games online mode, Red Dead Online earlier this week and it seems to be going down a storm with the world's wannabe cowboys and girls.

Following a staggered launch the devs finally launched the Red Dead Online Beta to everyone with a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 on Friday and whilst the game still is in beta you can expect to whole heap of regular changes as Rockstars sets to making this there next big cash cow.

To do that they also need your help, especially if you find that Red Dead Redemption 2 is not working.

"Over the first few days of early access, we've already received a lot of great feedback from the community. Please make sure to keep it coming at reddeadonline.com/feedback – as were constantly working to improve and evolve the experience." Rockstar wrote on a recent blog post.

The sentiment, then, is that if you encounter any problems, bugs, glitches or all the above you should report it. Otherwise, how else will Rockstar polish the game mode for you?

Surprisingly though, some people have ALREADY 100% completed the game. According to Rockstar Intel, a player managed to platinum trophy the game no less than four days after the launch of Red Dead Online.

"It took over a month for someone to get the platinum trophy due to the requirements of the player having to earn Red Dead Online trophies," Rockstar Intel told fans.

"Finally, the user – named Waraneasy – has earned the trophy. The trophy was earned 30th Nov 2018 at 10:26:09 AM UTC and only one other person has earned it since."

For those who haven't been playing Red Dead Online, there's still plenty going on in Rockstar's other big online game, GTA Online.

This week GTA Online players dialled up the crazy, perhaps as the perfect tonic to the down to earth realism of Wild West Life.

As such Rockstar shifted focus to the games barmy Rockstar Transform Races mode, where players could receive Double GTA$ & RP through December 3rd (That's tomorrow, Monday).

That wasn't all though, because there's also saving galore on various vehicles and enterprises across the game. Here's the full lowdown from Rockstar:

"Bikers looking to bring in some extra cash this week can make their way to the Clubhouse meeting room and launch any Clubhouse Contract for 2X GTA$ & RP.

"Cargo is selling for a premium across Southern San Andreas with double rewards on Smuggler's Run Sell Missions as well as a 25% mark-up on all Special Cargo Deliveries.

"Take advantage of up to 35% off select Sports and Super cars through December 3rd.

"Get up to 40% off heavy-duty stalwarts like the MOC and Rhino tank or deck out your armada with a selection of premium aircraft.

"And all week long, stock up with blow out sales on munitions, including 25% off explosive essentials such as Sticky Bombs, Grenades and more"

Lastly, for this Rockstar round-up, Red Dead Redemption 2 fans can now celebrate their favourite game in style. As in, literally.

Rockstar teamed up with maker of fine threads, Barking Irons, to create a limited edition Red Dead Redemption 2collection of items inspired by Rockstar's famous new game – featuring "exceptional quality and authentic, heritage materials and subtle nods to in-game designs".

The range has been modeled specifically on the apparel worn by Arthur Morgan in the game with added period era detail with contemporary Americana styling.

"Waxed cotton and leather, Japanese denim, and weighty workwear pieces highlight the collections unyielding commitment to high-end, authentic materials, while clever design touches ground the collection in a style that feels wearable every day," a Rockstar newswire post claimed.

The new clothes are now available in sizes ranging from Extra Small to XXL from Barking irons with some more t-shirts coming to the collection in the near future too.

Although, a word of warning, it's not cheap. As in, £70+ for a shirt cheap. Just think of all the gold microtransactions that might one day buy you…
