Rita Ora had a lip-syncing fail live at the Macys Day Thanksgiving Parade in America earlier, and its seriously awkward.

The 27-year-old was given the huge honour of singing on the float during the annual parade, in New York.

However, a few seconds into her banger, Let You Love Me, it all went wrong for the singer, who appeared to completely miss her cue for the track.

So her voice started belting out on the streets of New York – however, the audio in her ear was on a slight delay, meaning she didnt start miming the words until around two seconds later.

It would have been awkward either way, but with millions of people tuning in around the world as they tucked into their Thanksgiving dinner, it was unfortunate, to say the least…

And fans rushed to Twitter to drag the whole thing.

So thats pretty much the worst lip synching ever, one posted.

Even Rita Ora, doesnt know a Rita Ora song. #MacysParade, another commented.

While a third added: When Rita Ora misses her cue and is lip syncing the wrong parts of the song #macysthanksgivingparade.

However, John Legend rushed to support Rita over the faux pas – revealing they all mime their performances during the parade.

Taking to Twitter, he posted: Fun fact. We all have to lip sync on this parade because the floats dont have the capacity to handle the sound requirements for a live performance.
