Riot Games is facing a lawsuit from a current and former employee accusing the company of gender discrimination, ongoing sexual harassment and denied equal pay.

The claims against the League Of Legends publisher have emerged three months after Kotaku conducted an investigation into a reported sexist culture at Riot Games.

The class-action lawsuit alleges like many of Riot Games female employees, Plaintiffs have been denied equal pay and found their careers stifled because they are women.

Moreover, Plaintiffs have also seen their working conditions negatively impacted because of the ongoing sexual harassment, misconduct, and bias which predominate the sexually-hostile working environment of Riot Games.

They added on Twitter back in August: To listen, we have to be quiet. You havent heard from us, because were focused on listening and supporting internally.

In the weeks and months ahead, well share immediate and long-term actions were taking to enact real change for women at Riot.

According to Kotaku, Riot has made steps in firing many of the people accused of contributing towards the bro culture at the company, although state they still employ several of the key alleged perpetrators of abusive behavior.

One of the two plaintiffs in the lawsuit, Jessica Negron, claimed she was fulfilling job duties of a manager, who quit the job, but didnt receive an increase in her pay to compensate.

The second plaintiff and current employee Melanie McCracken claimed she observed and endured discrimination based on her sex-gender from her supervisor – who created a hostile environment for employees who reported him.
