Paintball was created for those who crave the experience of combat but cant handle the real thing. For Marines, its little more than childs play as proven in this weeks episode of “Reporter Vs. Marine.”

A group of Washington D.C.-based reporters ventured out to Marine Corps Base Quantico last week to take part in a tournament to support Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Quantico Fund Drive and get a taste of combat from those who have actually experienced it. It didnt take long for the Marines to send them home defeated, discouraged and covered in paint. (Reporter Vs. Marine: The Breaching Challenge)

The team of reporters from The Daily Caller, The Daily Caller News Foundation, The Federalist, Independent Journal Review and The Free Beacon faced off against two separate teams of Marines during the tournament. Despite the reporters best efforts, the Marines came out on top in both matches. (RELATED: A Reporter Goes Head To Head With A Military Dog. Guess What Happened Next)

While “Team Fake News” fell to their superiors on the field, at least they did it in support of a great cause. If you would like to join The Daily Caller in supporting the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, which provides financial assistance to sailors, Marines and their families in times of need, you can make a donation on the NMCRS website.
