Red Dead Redemption Online trailer COMING SOON? RDR Online beta reveal coming THIS WEEK? (Pic: ROCKSTAR)

Red Dead Redemption Online is supposed to be coming out by the end of the month – that's if information from developer Rockstar's parent company Take-Two is to be believed.

Take-Two Interactive's Strauss Zelnick said during the company's Q3 earnings call that "It's way too early to talk about Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, it hasn't released yet," but that players can expect to see the beta for the mode will be coming soon.

"It will launch in public beta towards the end of the month and Rockstar will have a lot more to say about it. We're not making any current predictions," he told stakeholders.

With the beta due to go live within the next two weeks, though, we can certainly expect a trailer for the mode to be released soon.

Why do we believe that? Because Rockstar has done this before.

The online mode for GTA V launched weeks after the main game launched on Xbox 360 and PS3, and before the mode actually came out, Rockstar released a dedicated trailer detailing what players could expect to see in the multiplayer portion.

We've seen many rumours (see below) about what we could actually see in Red Dead's online system, including Battle Royales and missions to Mexico.

It would suit Rockstar to release a trailer detailing these features before any potential beta was put live – just to sort of 'set the mood' for players.

Heres how Rockstar describes Red Dead Redemption 2 Online:

Red Dead Online is an evolution of the classic multiplayer experience in the original Red Dead Redemption, blending narrative with competitive and cooperative gameplay in fun new ways.

Using the gameplay of the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 as a foundation, Red Dead Online will be ready to be explored alone or with friends, and will also feature constant updates and adjustments to grow and evolve this experience for all players.

Last week, Fireboyd78 (Via RockstarIntel) is credited with finding a number of parameters in the past few days which specifically mention and reference "MULTIPLAYER".

"The most interesting of these are Respawn, Inform Law, Duel, Parley, Feud and Leader Feud," writes RockstarIntel. "Predator Ability is also something to take note of.

The site goes on to suggest that these could be options for players upon getting killed by another player, in a similar fashion to Grand Theft Auto 5's 1 on 1 deathmatch.

Rockstar Intel also shared a leak of its own, claiming that they've found the current list of missions types coming to Red Dead Online. Although they're keen to stress this is anything but final.

The list of mission types includes: 'Mission', 'Deathmatch' and 'Race'.
