Just over 24 hours ago Red Dead Online went live, letting Ultimate Edition players into the multiplayer portion of the game.

But now a much bigger pool of players are fighting tooth and nail to get into Rockstar's wild west equivalent GTA Online.

When the mode launched yesterday the game was beset with issues for Xbox One Ultimate Editions owners, who simply couldn't get into the game.

And today more users appear to be having issues, despite the promise of the game being available at 1.30pm GMT from Rockstar.

It seems a number of players are stuck, like Xbox players were, on the "coming soon" screen when booting up online

Here's a small cross section of players who've already taken to social to complain at the game still folding them back.

@RockstarGames Sooooo…. No access to Red Dead Online for day one players yet?

@RockstarSupport when will the online beta of red dead redemption start for players who play the game on release date? It should actually start today.

@RockstarGames why cant play online beta of red dead? I played when came out…

Where is my Red Dead Online? Hopefully its just starting to roll out.. #RedDeadRedempion2

Why cant I get on Red Dead Online Beta today? @RockstarSupport I played on the 26th when the game came out but cant get online now.

@RockstarGames i brought and played red dead redemption 2 on the 26th of October why isn't it letting me play online today?

@RockstarSupport day one player cant access red dead online

As we noted on Tuesday, Rockstar is known for having pretty robust servers (if GTA Online is anything to go by), so hopefully, this new wobble for the game will be fixed pretty soon.

Equally, if the game is having issues now, it's certainly going to be tested to its absolute breaking point when the world and his mum attempts to play on Friday when absolutely anyone can jump into the game.

So, we would hope and anticipate that Rockstar will have this solved pretty sharpish.

However, its worth us also pointing out that even when you have successfully managed to get Red Dead Online up and running, there's still no guartentee you won't have a few wobbles.

But it's also important to remember that this is, officially, a beta and if you're having issues with the game in its Beta state, we can't communicate how important and helpful it is to actually use that form and let Rockstar know your issues.

"Rockstar Games want your feedback on the Red Dead Online Beta" the developer tweeted out after the Online went live yesterday. "Check out the dedicated page here and report any issues, or send them suggestions"

You can check out the Red Dead Online Beta feedback page here.

For those who need this reiterating, the Beta is designed to test and fix the Online portion of the game and without your feedback, that's never going to happen.

If you keep disconnecting, or if your character keeps drifting into Mexico, Rockstar is never going to know how widespread the problem is if you don't submit feedback.

The form is simple to fill out and provides a space for you to fill in your information. If your game isn't working, without this vital step in the development process, Rockstar won't be able to help you.

Red Dead Online Working as it should?

Excellent. Why are you even reading this story?

Still, whilst you're here, maybe these Red Dead Online guides will help you in your progress to become the rootinest tootinest cowboy in the digital wild wild west.
