Pokemon GO July 2019 Research Quest Rewards: What are the July 2019 Field Research Quests? (Pic: Daily Star)

Pokemon GO Field Research is set for another dramatic change this evening as the developers at Niantic once again look to shake up the game.

That means new daily field research challenges, new breakthrough rewards and a change at a Shiny Spinda too!

These will replace those existing Field Research Quests for June which are currently live at the time of writing.

If you're new to the game, or getting back into the swing of things after a few months away, then let us quickly explain how this works.

Every day, players will spin PokeStops and as collect field research quests from Professor Oak. These are utterly random and the quest for each PokeStop changes with each passing day.

If players complete field research they earn rewards, which could be anything from Pokeballs, berries to random Pokemon encounters.

Out of everything, it's the latter which are the most popular. Not only have you got a good chance of catching some semi-rare pokemon, but also, better odds of catching a shiny.

On top of this, if you complete seven of these Field Research Quests you unlock a field research breakthrough. This means you'll have the chance to capture a special legendary Pokemon.

Later tonight the existing June Field Research will change for a new selection of July Field Research. Ahead of that big in-game event, here's what you need to know.

When do July Field Research Quests Go Live?

Assuming Niantic doesn't pull a fast one and keep the Field Research Quests the same for another month – something they have done before – then we should see the new Pokemon Go Field Research quests and rewards go live today, 1st July 2019, at 1PM PDT, which for anyone in the UK, is 9PM BST, tonight!

What is the Pokemon GO July Research Breakthrough Reward?

Niantic announced towards the end of June what changes they'll be making to the games Research Breakthrough Rewards.

Thankfully, it won't be changing TOO much from the existing Breakthrough Awards in June 2019.

At the time of writing players can encounter Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latias, and Latios, but following the changeover players will encounter Latias, Latios, Kyogre, and Groudon.

For anyone wondering, there's no hard and hast rule for which legendary you'll receive.

This changeover will occur July 1, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT, which like the new Research Quests, means a 9pm BST changeover.

The Breakthrough awards won't change until September 1, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT. Good news if you're still yet to capture the Eon duo.

What is the Pokemon GO July Spinda Reward?

Each month has normally seen a new Spinda available and July 2019 will be no different. No info is available yet on which spinda will be available, but according to Niantic, if youre lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!

Watch out, Shiny Spinda will be about (Pic: Twitter)
