POKEMON GO UPDATE 1

Just when you thought they're done, out rolls another update via the games official Twitter account.

Moments ago the Pokemon GO App confirmed another Gen 4 addition to the game in the form of Budew.

Here's the official announcement:

"Put those walking shoes on and get hatching, Trainers. Budew, a Grass- and Poison-type Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, can now be found in Eggs!"

For those who need reminding, Budew is a sort of baby pokemon, which evolves into the existing Gen 3 Pokemon, Roselia.

It's not entirely clear just yet whether shiny Budew is available, since there's already a Shiny Roselia in the game.

Stay tuned for updates…

Original Story – Pokemon GO has just dropped some massive news on fans this evening bringing new Gen 4 Pokemon to the game alongside some fantastic stardust news.

First let's start with the sneaky secret news that Niantic or the Pokemon GO App has yet to officially announce.

This evening the game has rolled out a brand new Gen 4 Pokemon in the form of BUIZEL, who can also be evolved into Floatzel.

Although at the time of writing, it's unclear if the addition of the new Pokemon was a mistake on the part of Niantic.

The website Pokemongo.gamepress has suggested that the new Gen 4 might have already been removed:

"NOTE: BUIZEL SPAWNS WERE REPORTED FOR A VERY SHORT TIME AND SEEMED TO HAVE DISAPPEARED, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT NIANTIC RELEASED THE WATER WEASEL AS A MISTAKE."

This is a breaking story but we'll be sure to update fans the second we learn more.

Now onto the official news we've also learned this evening…

Niantic has also launched a brand new event this evening which will be giving trainers DOUBLE stardust for a series of days.

Here's the official announcement as posted to Twitter:

"Wishing for more Stardust, Trainers? Consider your wishes granted!"

"Starting now, were kicking off our first Stardust Blast event!

"Trainers will now receive double Hatch Stardust and double Catch Stardust until November 13 at 1 p.m. PST."

The in-game notification also warns trainers not to pass up on this opportunity, also adding:

"Like a shooting star, this event won't be around for long, Trainers, so make the most of this limited time! Stay safe, and happy exploring!"

Given how stardust is so valuable we would highly suggest that all trainers make the most of this event as much as possible before it's gone.
