PewDiePie has earned 5 million subscribers in just one month amid his battle with T-Series to hold onto YouTubes top spot.

Looks like the campaign is paying off.

The Swedish gamer – real name Felix Kjellberg – took to social media to share the news.

5 mil on youtube in a… month, he tweeted, attaching a photo of his YouTube stats, showing his new subscriber count is up by a whopping 85%.

Fans are hyped for the YouTuber, who recently passed 75 million subscribers.

Felix has been holding on to his YouTube crown amid his battle with Indian music label T-Series, who are currently lagging about 500,000 subscribers behind.

However, the impressive stats arent just down to Felix.

His fellow YouTubers and fans have been focusing on keeping him at the top with a huge campaign.

With some fans hacking printers to print PewDiePie propaganda, others have managed to get GTA V to display Subscribe to PewDiePie on YouTube notices.

Meanwhile, American vlogger Mr Beast has been heading up his own campaign to keep Pewds on top.

From buying billboards and newspaper ads to saying the YouTubers name 100,000 times in a 12 hour livestream (A+ for dedication), he hasnt backed down.

Even Team 10 member Justin Roberts got involved, buying PewDiePie a $1 million billboard in Times Square, while YouTube Rewind featured a Sub To PewDiePie Easter egg.
