The Overwatch Halloween Terror event is almost here, bringing with it the new themed skins and other cosmetics to enjoy.

This is the ultimate way to get in the mood for the spookiest time of the year.

Activision Blizzard has been leaking details about the event, including which new skins fans can look forward to.

We expect a host of new Halloween-themes skins, new cosmetics and the PVE Junkensteins Revenge to drop on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Here we reveal everything you need to know about the Halloween event.

When does the Overwatch Halloween event start?

The Overwatch Halloween event kicks off today, Tuesday, October 9.

Blizzard have not revealed an official start time, however we do have an idea of when things will begin.

Judging by the past Overwatch releases, we expect the event to go live between 6pm and 7pm BST today.

However, according to Metabomb it could release as early as 4pm BST.

Keep in mind Blizzard sometimes has to delay releases, so it could be pushed back a couple of hours.

Blizzard revealed the date we can expect to see Halloween Terror go live on Twitter.

With the tweet there was a video, revealing the event will go live on October 9.

The event will run until the end of the month, on October 31.

Blizzard has been teasing the brand new skins for the Overwatch Halloween event for the last few days.

So far the Halloween-themed skins which have been announced are Doomfist, Moira, Widowmaker, Pharah and Wrecking Ball.

Fans are also expecting two more skins to be revealed before the event starts.

Returning skins will be valued at 1,000 credits, with new skins available for 3,000 credits.

As previously mentioned, the PVE brawl Junkensteins Revenge will also return, with two modes to choose from.

Places will face a wave of enemies such as Genji, Torbjörn, Widowmaker and Zenyatta.

However, game director Jeff Kaplan has warned fans to expect some minor tweaks to the mode.
