Travis Touchdown is back in No More Heroes 3

Nintendo announced a bunch of surprise titles during its E3 presentation, including a remake of Panzer Dragoon and No More Heroes III.

The companys Direct presentation may have been headlined by new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters, a Breath Of The Wild sequel, Luigis Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing, but there was a number of new titles which debuted between.

No More Heroes III

While the spin-off Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes failed to take off earlier this year, a new mainline entry in the franchise from Suda 51 was announced in a stylish trailer. No More Heroes III is set to be released on Nintendo Switch in 2020.

Panzer Dragoon

A remake of the original Panzer Dragoon will be arriving on Switch later this year, an on-rails shooter which originally released on the Sega Saturn. This new edition features improved graphics, controls, and is said to be staying faithful to the original game, over the sequels.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age – Definitive Edition S

Along with Dragon Quest heroes in Smash Bros, Nintendo also announced a Switch version of Dragon Quest XI definitive edition previously seen in Square Enixs conference. This, however, featured the release date of 27 September.

The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance Tactics

Working as a tie-in with Netflixs new Dark Crystal show, this new turn-based strategy game looks similar to Fire Emblem, while featuring some Jim Henson puppetry in the trailer. The Netflix show is scheduled to arrive on 31 August.

Trials Of Mana

The third entry in the Mana series has been given the remake treatment in Trials Of Mana, set to be released in 2020. The announcement also coincides with the release of Collection Of Mana, a bundle of the first three games in the Mana series available now on Switch.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

A new story trailer for Fire Emblem: Three Houses was released, which shows off the games impressive anime visuals. The game releases on 26 July.

Resident Evil 5 & 6

Following the release of the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 4, and Revelations on Switch, Nintendo has announced Resident Evil 5 and 6 will also come out on the platform. The two games are scheduled to be released in the autumn.

Legend Of Zelda: Links Awakening

The remake of the 1993 Game Boy game also received a new trailer, showing off the Amber Dungeons where you can create your own level, and explore them for items. The game releases on Nintendo Switch 20 September.

Daemon X Machina

The third-person action shooter received a release date of 13 September. In the trailer, fighters in mechs and on-foot are shown taking on all manner of enemies, while a giant battleship looms in the sky.
