Twitter user @dylsauce shared a photo of a thumbnail for the reality competition series "Nailed It!" that featured two white, male contributors — judge Jacques Torres and assistant director Weston Bahr — instead of host Nicole Byer, who is black. Byer and Torres share top billing for the show, but Byer has in many instances acted as the face of the series. "@nicolebyer IS NAILED IT," the user wrote. "I love wes and chef jacques but COME ON – this is so upsetting." I would talk about how f—ed up and disrespectful this is to me a black woman. Also how black women are a lot of times erased from many different conversations," she said. She also accused the service of "white washing," while acknowledging that thumbnails can vary for different users.
