Spice Girls are taking singing lessons – well except for Victoria (Picture: Getty Images)

Spice Girls Mel C has convinced Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner to take singing lessons ahead of their reunion tour.

But Victoria Beckham – who is reportedly not interested in joining the women for the comeback – is noticeably absent from this list.

It may be an awkward thing to ask your bandmates to do, but it is said that Mel C wants nothing but the best for the group if and when they eventually hit the road again.

According to The Sun Mel C understands they havent sung together for years and its crucial they take the performance side of the money-spinning return very seriously.

The publication adds that the singer was unable to convince Victoria to take part but wants to work on overseeing the musical arrangements of their back catalogue and work closely with a live band to ensure the songs are re-imagined for 2019.

These reports came after the group were said to have one of the most bitter spats in their history between Mel B and Victoria, since Geri quit the group in 1998.

The alleged x-rated row supposedly kicked off during the latest discussions about Victoria refusing to take part in the rumoured upcoming reunion.

Scary Spice reportedly lost it with Posh after it was alleged she vowed to sue if the rest of the girls make money without her, according to The Sun.

Mel B recently confirmed that the 90s pop group are definitely reuniting for a tour, despite everyone else failing to actually announce concrete details.

According to the publication, a UK tour could make them £8 million each – far less than what they all could earn as a five-piece.

An insider said: The girls are furious with Victoria for initially agreeing to reunite, then pulling out. At one stage she even threatened to go legal if the girls cashed in on the brand minus her.

They then took offence to her re-creating her Spice Girls look in a recent Vogue shoot and basically said she was being a hypocrite.

By the end of the exchange, Melanie told Victoria: “Fuck off, you bitch!”. And that was pretty much the end of the conversation.

Speaking to James Corden on The Late Late Show, Mel suggested that Katy Perry could replace Victoria and can we take a moment to imagine Katy doing her best Posh Spice impression?

100 percent its happening, she told James Corden as she was joined on his sofa with Olivia Munn and Dr. Phil. We are going to be going on tour.

When asked which band members would be joining them, she gave a resounding yes for Mel C, Emma, and Geri, but when it came to Victoria she stumbled a bit.

Well, well see about that one, she said, before adding that she hopes Victoria joins them for a few.

Olivia chipped in with a wild idea after trying out her own Posh Spice impression: What if you, like, had celebrity guests?

Of course, Mel admitted that she had the same idea before revealing that Katy would be her ideal replacement pick.

Katy Perry would be good, Mel added. She would.

Even though things have been a little up in the air with the Spice Girls reunion tour, Mel B has continued to go on TV to promise that it is indeed still going on – even though Victoria is supposedly hesitant to take part.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk in May, Mel C explained why there have been no exact plans made yet, making a possible reference to Victorias supposed reluctance.

She said: Its a tricky one because if there are certain people who dont want to get on stage, I want to make sure that whatever we do as the Spice Girls is the right thing and is totally befitting.

And fitting for the fans. We just dont want to do anything that isnt good enough.

We guess we all just have to wait and see.
