Stephen Belafonte urged: Dont believe a word Melanie says

Mel Bs ex Stephen Belafonte has spoken out about the pairs marriage breakdown.

The couple married in 2007 and stayed together for 10 years, but they havent been on the best terms since filing for divorce in 2017.

Dont believe a word I say, he advised in an interview with Kiss. Dont believe a word Melanie says. All I want you to believe is the evidence.

Speaking about Mels allegation that her being hospitalised in 2014 was because of him, Stephen claimed: She was partying, doing tons of coke in London and she damaged her body.

She was doing pills, coke, and she was on a bender for like three/four days straight.

She never had a mark on her.

He went on to blame Mel for speaking out against him when their daughter can read about it.

Just a couple of days ago, Stephen hit out at Scary Spice for making up allegations against him to justify her actions.

Mel alleged that he was abusive during the marriage, while Stephen has denied all the claims.

He told DailyMail TV: I do not know who I was married to, at all.

What she has said to protect her own image, to play the victim was nasty and horrific. Im dumbfounded, he added.

She blames me for her cocaine use, she blames me for the sexual stuff, its just disgusting.

I dont know why a person who cares about their daughters, who is girl power, would ever in a million years want this to be out there for your younger daughters to read.

Meanwhile, Mel Bs eldest daughter Phoenix has backed her mum, alleging that she saw Stephen push her mother over the couch.

I was maybe 14 or 15. I was in my bedroom. I could hear them fighting. My mum came downstairs to the kitchen followed by Stephen, the 19-year-old claimed.

I looked through the crack halfway up the stairs – where I could just see the kitchen – to check if everything was OK, which it was, then returned to my room.

I heard more screaming and her shouting, “Stop, get off”, and heard little thumps. I went to the stairs again and saw … my mum pushed over the couch.

Mel is yet to respond to Stephens recent comments.
