A kid by the name of Aiden Vasquez has received the highest praise after he refused to fight back to bullies because it wasnt the Jedi way.

The Californian schoolboy got a shout out from the master himself, Mark Hamill, after he made the admission.

Thats one way to really sock it to the haters – this kid has Luke Skywalker on his side.

After news went viral of the young boys actions (or lack of, we should say) Mark took to Twitter to share his pride with his followers.

SHOUT OUT to Aiden Vazquez for his courage & wisdom in the face of adversity, Mark wrote. Im so proud of you for showing that you can be a Jedi in real life. Congratulations, Aiden- The Force will be with YOU… Always!!!

He signed off: Your fan, mh.

Marks fans rallied around the kid, too, as they praised the star for his message.

One said: Such courage and wisdom at such a young age. I hope he sees your support and will draw strength from it to continue being a much better person than those cowardly bullies.

Another added: His courage and your kindness make my heart sing.

A third said: This boy shows more courage and restraint – along with wisdom – than most adults I know!! Thanks for recognizing him and sending your encouragement, Mark. Bless you both.

Vasquez needed stitches above his right eye when he was injured by a bully – while last year he was a target again and needed stiches on his cheek after someone pushed him against the wall.

His mother took to Facebook to explain why her son didnt fight back.

Its not the Jedi way, was his response, as his mother Lizette Casanova continued: He said he felt it in his soul not to hit the kid back.

She added: For those telling me I should tell my son to FIGHT BACK OR Hurt the kid [sic] were not those kinds of people.

I dont need to fight with fists to prove a point. My son is incredibly gifted and thats all I have to teach him to embrace he will be someone one day trust and believe! #StopBullying.
