Love Island winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer have called time on their romance five months after leaving the villa.

Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. Its been an incredible six months and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but sadly weve come to the realisation that its not mean to be long-term, Dani confirmed on Instagram.

We both plan to stay friends, I hope youll all understand. Love, Dani xx, she added.

When they left the villa they really thought they would stay together forever, but reality soon set in and things started to get strained, a source close to the pair claimed.

They are both incredibly busy and they have decided to call time on their romance.

The pair met in the villa on the first day and coupled up immediately.

Their relationship went from strength to strength although they were tested when Jacks ex-girlfriend Ellie entered Casa Amor.

They both stayed loyal though and went on to win the show with a huge percentage of the public vote.

The pair moved in together weeks after leaving the villa, with Dani taking to Instagram stories to reveal she had moved in with 26-year-old Jack.

The 22-year-old shared an adorable selfie from what appeared to be a balcony, with a breakfast bar lined with modern white stools visible in the background. Dani captioned the picture: Finally moving into our new home.

However, speaking to The Sun, the insider has claimed that they came out to a whirlwind of publicity and after a while, things started to get to them and the cracks appeared.

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Jack and Dani for comment.
