Liam Gallagher admits his feelings were hurt by nasty things that were said in the midst of his feud with Noel Gallagher and his wife Sara MacDonald proving he is a big softie at heart.

The warring Oasis brothers publicly clashed again this summer when Noel, 52, accused Liam, 46, of sending threatening text messages about Sara to Noels daughter Anais.

In the messages which Noel leaked on Twitter, Liam reportedly wrote: Tell your step mam to be very careful [sic].

Liam has now apologised for his comments but denies threatening Sara, whom Noel has dated for six years.

Opening up about the drama to Mr Porter Journal, Liam said: He said I threatened his wife. I didnt threaten his wife. If you threaten someone you have to say, “If you do this, this is gonna happen”.

The former Beady Eye rocker also feels remorse for dragging his niece Anais, 19, into the bitter feud, and says he felt hurt by Saras comments about his weight.

I probably shouldnt have brought Anaïs into it, and I apologise. [Noels wife] called me fat, which hurt my feelings. I have a belly, its well paid for, but Im not fat, Liam admitted.

The singer did already apologise for the text messages hours after they were leaked, writing on Twitter: My sincere apologies to my beautiful mum Peggy and my lovely niece Anais for getting caught up in all of this childish behaviour I love you both dearly LG x.

But tensions flared again last month when Noel said he couldnt think of anything worse than watching Liams documentary As It Were.

In an interview with Variety, the Wonderwall singer stated: I couldnt think of a reason that would make me want to watch it, considering that every time I see that c***s face, I want to f*****g take out a McDonalds with a machine gun.

So I dont think Ill be going to the local cinema to watch him rewrite f*****g history [about] what a great guy he is; what a wonderful family man.

Ive got better things to do with my time. You should go and see it, though. Apparently theres a lot of jogging in it. I dont know about you, but I like to see my favorite rock stars jogging. Dont you?
