Lee Ryan had to pull out of the Aladdin panto part-way through his performance after suffering from what he claimed to be a chest infection.
Fans were hopeful that theyd see the 35-year-old back at the New Wimbledon Theatre tonight, after taking time off to recover.
However, despite the show set to continue for another seven days, it seems the singer will not be returning.
A spokesperson for Qdos Entertainment told Metro.co.uk: On Friday night Lee Ryan informed us that he would not be continuing his contract, a position Qdos Entertainment has accepted.
They added: The part of Aladdin will now be covered by Chris Durtnal.
The Blue singer is blaming a chest infection which affects his voice, for leaving the show early, however, he has allegedly since been sighted in a Wetherspoons pub.

A representative for Lee shut down claims that he quit the show because he had drunk too much at the Strictly Come Dancing finale party two weeks ago and was feeling off-key on Friday.
Lee quit drinking ahead of his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, which saw him make an early second week exit earlier this year.
However, in mid-December he said he had many regrets about over-doing it at the wrap party, claiming hed popped in for one and woken up the next morning with a shudder.
Ticket holders have taken to Twitter to express how disappointed they were that Lee had to leave the show.

People behind the New Wimbledon Theatre Twitter account have since replied to the complaints apologising for Lees absence.
