Fans have got their first good look at how the Super Nintendo World theme park land will work and it seems like a video game come to life.

A big budget Nintendo theme park is one of those things that has been endlessly talked about but seems impossible to imagine will actually happen… except it is.

Park areas in Japan and Universal Orlando were announced back in 2016, with what seemed to be only a vague bit of concept art. Except these models, which leaked online over the weekend, seem to match up with it perfectly.

The scale models are also from 2016, so plans couldve changed since then, but hopefully not because everything here looks spot on to the games.

You can see Bowsers Castle, which seems to be the entrance to a Mario Kart Ride; Toadstool Cafe in the middle; and behind that Yoshis Adventure, which has little moving Yoshis you can ride on.

The design of the landscapes is impressively close to the games and theres even relatively obscure enemies like Pokeys and the vine-like Piranha Plants from newer Super Mario Bros. games.

If youre wondering where Princess Peachs castle got to it, that seems to be the courtyard to it in the bottom left of both photos. Its certainly in the official artwork, so itd be very hard to imagine its not in the final thing.

What hasnt been seen at all before now is the Donkey Kong Country area, which also looks impressively authentic to the games and clearly has a different aesthetic to the Mario stuff.
