Kevin Hart is slowly getting better after being released from the hospital last night only one week after a brutal collision.
The Jumanji star was seen heading to a live-in rehab facility for intense physical therapy and his wife Eniko Parrish says hes doing amazing and will be back on track in no time.
The 35-year-old spouse told TMZ that theyre taking it one day at a time after fracturing his spine in three different places from careening off the road and into an embankment in Malibu.
Kevin was in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, driven by his pal Jared Black, when it swerved off the road near his Los Angeles home almost a fortnight ago.
His friend also sustained serious back injuries but his fiancée Rebecca Broxterman escaped the car unscathed.
According to Eniko, the family are taking it one day at a time, making sure Kevin is working at his own speed.
Great to hear Kevin is recovering so miraculously from his terrifying incident.
Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Dwayne said: I love the guy, hes one of my best friends. And honestly, I mean, thank God, it couldve been a lot worse.
So, hes a lucky man, and he knows it too. I wish him the best and a speedy recovery and Im gonna see him soon.
Kevins physical therapy comes as reports claimed the Get Hard star will have to wear a back brace and need round the clock care.
The Blast claims Kevin is walking again after his surgery, but will need at least four months off from work before he can head back to set.
Kevin required emergency surgery to fuse the fractures in his back, two of which are in the thoracic region of the spine and one in the lumbar region.
It was recently claimed that Kevins injuries could have been prevented had the car, which he bought for himself as a 40th birthday present, not been lacking key safety features.
