Kelly Clarkson must have not looked like herself at the Academy of Country Music awards Sunday because a man mistook her for a seat-filler.
Clarkson performed twice during the awards show, but despite her celebrity status, “some guy” asked her to move from his seat, according to a Page Six report.
The former “American Idol” champion and two-time Grammy winner shared her thoughts of the moment on Twitter: “The greatest thing by far that happened to me tonight was being asked to move because some guy thought I was a seat filler at the ACMs tonight … literally, it made my night because he was so serious.”
