Its that time of year again.
With Christmas around the corner, Love Actually is on peoples TV screens once more, and theyve re-discovered that Keira Knightley (Juliet) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Liam Neesons step son Sam) are much closer in age than we thought.
Its been 14 years since we were gifted that iconic airport scene.
Fourteen years since the cheesy but ultimately fulfilling film about an author falling in love with the cleaner; the Prime Minister falling in love with his secretary in a dodgy office romance, the late Alan Rickman starring in another dodgy office romance of a different kind and a kid falling in love with a girl with the same name as his mum.
That is some ensemble romance right there.
Juliet is involved in a love triangle with her husband and his best friend. Sam is a schoolboy grieving the death of his mum and embarking on his first love story.

Youd think there would be at least a decade between them?
Nope.

When the film was released in November 2003, Keira was 18 years old and Thomas, 13.
Needless to say, fans of the show just cannot.
Struggling to get over the fact that the little kid that played Sam in Love Actually is only 5 years younger than Keira Knightley in real life, one fan wrote.
Some were less coherent than others. Shocked, another said, trying to get their head around the seeming impossibility.

Once youve peeled your jaw off the floor, youll probably recognise the grown up Thomas, who is now 27 years old, in Game of Thrones.
He played Jojen Reed in the series.
