Jesy Nelson takes down video after fans are shocked by racial slur (Picture: WireImage)

Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has taken down an Instagram video after fans pointed out that a racial slur could be heard in the background.

The 27-year-old was celebrating New Years Eve with a group of her friends, who could all be seen singing and dancing along to their favourite tunes in a club.

However, while the Shout Out To My Ex songstress was busy pouting into the camera, one of her pals in the background dropped the N-word when chanting the lyrics to Chris Browns Freaky Friday.

Jesys Instagram followers were quick to tell the star what had happened, and she instantly removed the video from her story.

Commenting on one of her recent pics from the night out, Mixers let their fav know about the slip up and asked her to delete the video.

One wrote: hey fav, you should probably delete the video of dilem saying the n word on your story. also, tell her it isnt appropriate for her to say it!

While another added: Nice of you to film your white friend miming the N word in your story.

Someone else questioned: Ok but why did you record your friend saying the n word on your story?

This isnt the first time Little Mix fans have tried to call out the popstars for their actions.

Just last month, the group were slammed by haters for their skimpy stage outfits.

However, Jesy wasnt letting this comment slide, and told the people who complained to bore off if they have a problem.

The 27-year-old said: If youve got nothing nice to say then bore off because we embrace every single bit of our bodies.

Thats what being a woman is about – being confident.

Fellow Mixer Perrie Edwards, 25, told The Sun the girls had a zero tolerance policy on the outfit shaming, as she said: We say, just shut up.

She added: Its our choice. Its about embracing what you want to embrace. We dont question it. It shouldnt be a question.
