Jennifer Lopez dropped an official music video for her track Limitless, from her upcoming film Second Act – and it features her 10-year-old daughter.

It appears JLo is ready for her daughter Emme Maribel Muniz to showcase her dancing skills – lets just say she takes after her mama.

The music video, directed by Lopez herself, features Emme as the main protagonist in a song about female empowerment and the camera flashes from a grown up Lopez struggling against an angry wind, and her daughter, who is wearing the same outfits and struggling against the same wind.

Emme comes from an incredibly musical family – her father Marc Anthony is a singer, too (Picture: Jennifer Lopez/YouTube)

Emme pushes against the uphill clifftop battle against a backdrop of powerful lyrics like, I am a woman who roars, Nobody opened my doors and Ill never give up.

It quickly becomes apparent the 10-year-old cutie is the spitting image of her mum. The 49-year-old wastes no time dancing in a crimson power suit as well as a simple white top and cargo pants. Her daughter mirrors her clothes and her moves in a performance that raises goosebumps on your skin.

In another part of the music video Emme performs a few of Lopezs well-known dance moves, absolutely slaying it.

As they make it up to the top of the cliff the camera pans, Emme grabs a leaf and peers into it, only to see a reflection of her future self: her mum, Jennifer.

It catches you right in the feels.

Limitless is the first music video Lopez directed, and its bomb.

When I tell you, she was so amazing and I was so proud, she gushed, talking about her daughter on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week.

I was directing my first music video, it was all about her. It was all about her.

And when you see the video, its so empowering for, just to see her doing this but, like, for women. It talks about being limitless, it talks about having second acts, its a beautiful message as well, and great to share with her. Doing that.

We really bonded, Lopez added.

The music video, with its ferocious feminine power, was made to help women express themselves: I am worth something. I have value. I am equal. I am limitless.

The song suits Second Act, which sees Lopez play an assistant store manager called Maya Vargas who loses a promotion opportunity on her 43rd birthday because she doesnt have a university education.

Things take a turn for the unpredictable when her friend, played by Leah Remini, creates a fake resume that lands her a top executive job at a company in Manhattan.

Second Act is set for UK release on 25 January.
