Isla Fisher has seemingly betrayed her fellow redheads by trading in her auburn locks to channel her inner Daenerys Targaryen.

Its time to see if they really do have more fun.

The Confessions Of A Shopaholic actress showed off her fresh look on Instagram, posting a snap of her looking stunning, sporting a delicate gold ivy crown.

Go blonde in 19 or go home, the 42-year-old wrote.

However, people are divided over the switch-up.

bring back the red, one fan commented.

Another added: Aw, I liked you as a red head.

Nevertheless, others were absolutely living for the look, with one commenter gushing: Love this and as a red, you pull it off well xx.

Love the blonde! ?? another fan added.

The star confessed that a Prince biopic was at the top of her bucket list when asked by the Guardians Weekend magazine, as she said: Starring in a biopic of Prince. We are the same height, which I do not believe is a coincidence.

As a slightly more realistic option, though, back in October it was announced that shed be joining the cast of upcoming comedy Greed, alongside British funnymen David Mitchell and Steve Coogan.

In the upcoming film, British funny man Steve will play the part of a self-absorbed retail billionaire, according to Deadline, which reports that Isla will appear as his on-screen wife.

More: Steve Coogan

Islas character is said to be the only person who can truly understand the businessman and his complex personality.

If that dream team are anything to go by, clearly blondes do have more fun.
