Epic Games launched Fortnite Season 7 this morning, introducing new skins, A new 100 tier Battle Pass, plenty of map changes and much more.

"A new season also means a brand new Battle Pass. Over 100 new exclusive rewards are ready for you to unlock, and it still costs the same 950 V-bucks. This season, you get the Zenith and Lynx progressive outfits instantly when you purchase the Battle Pass, both of which can level-up to unlock new styles," the company announced.

"Weve also added a new cosmetic item type: Wraps! These allow you to customize your weapons and vehicles with all new looks to match and complement your favorite outfits. Battle Pass owners will also get early access to their own island in Creative: a brand new place for you to build your dream Fortnite with your friends."

However, as with any new update, there's always going to be a few issues, and it seems that players on PC and Nintendo Switch might not be having the smoothest of times right now.

You can read more about the specifics of how these items work in the Fortnite Season 7 Patch Notes, and you can see what you'll be looking forward to in our Fortnite Season 7 countdown.

If you're playing on Xbox One, there's also a great deal related to 1000 free Fortnite VBucks you can check out at the link.

Writing on Twitter, the official Fortnite Twitter account wrote:

"Were aware of an increase in crashes for PC and Nintendo Switch players."

"Were investigating this and are working towards a fix."

Beyond this, there have been no further details revealed for these problems on PC and Switch.

Although, we would imagine that if they continue a hotfix could be required.

Stay tuned for more details…
