British actor Idris Elba has married his fiancee Sabrina Dhowre in Morocco.

The couple reportedly tied the knot at a boutique hotel in Marrakesh on Friday.

Vogue has released photos of Elba, who wore a custom black suit by Ozwald Boateng and black tie, and his bride, who wore an off-the-shoulder white A-line gown by Vera Wang and long veil.

Later, she changed into a V-neck style embroidered dress with pearls and gemstones and finished with couture lace.

The celebrations were spread out over three days.

He had been at the venue for a preview of his directorial debut Yardie.
