Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4) - jaw, meet floor

Horizon Zero Dawn – is it getting multiplayer or is that a new game?

Evidence has emerged that Guerrilla Games are working on a new game with the director of Rainbow Six Siege, but its probably not Killzone.

Although nobodys ever said anything in public (well, the voice actress of Tatai did) but its super obvious that theres going to be a sequel Horizon Zero Dawn, what with it being Sonys most successful new IP of the current generation.

The best guess is that its being held back for the PlayStation 5, but according to a new job ad it doesnt sound like its the only game that developer Guerrilla Games are currently working on.

The role of Java developer is for an unannounced title and a role that seems heavily focused on multiplayer features such as matchmaking, tournaments, clans, and leaderboards.

Theres nothing to say that the game in question isnt Horizon Zero Dawn 2, and that itll be getting multiplayer options that the original never had, but there are a couple of factors that may point to an entirely separate game.

Guerrilla has been on a hiring spree lately and now has up to 400 staff, which is much more than they ever needed to make the first Horizon Zero Dawn.

They also hired Rainbow Six Siege director Simon Larouche last year, whose talents really dont seem well suited to a single-player action role-player like Horizon Zero Dawn.

Larouche also tweeted about the job in question with the exclamation, Sooo, it begins!Read More – Source
