Fans of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will now be able to get a taste of Hogwarts in a live, immersive experience set to take place at the Royal Albert Hall this April.

Conducted by Justin Freer, the BBC Concert Orchestra will perform John Williams’ composition to the Harry Potter sequel as the film is played on a 40ft screen.

This follows screenings of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone last year at the prestigious venue.

Speaking at the time, artistic director at the Royal Albert Hall, Lucy Noble, said: ‘These very special screenings will allow audiences to relive the magic and adventure of this extraordinary film in high-definition on a 40ft screen, while experiencing John Williams’ epic score as they’ve never heard it before.’

The three screenings will take place on 27 and 28 April 2018.

Fans of the franchise should be aware that the orchestra will also be taking third film, Prisoner of Azkaban on tour as well, so those that miss out on bagging themselves a ticket to Chamber of Secrets can still experience the show later on in the year.
