A quite massive GTA 6 'leak' was revealed over the weekend. How much truth you put behind the info is completely up to you. Personally we'd also take anything like this with massive salt truck sized worth of dollops.

Then again, stranger things have happened. Remember the Apex Legends map leak one year before it launched?

Plus, it always helps when a massive credible worldwide site like GamesRadar jumps on the same info. You kinda hope with there sort of connections that there's a little more truth to the rumours.

The info itself comes via a Reddit user by the name JackOLantern1982, posted to the GamingLeaksAndRumours section of Reddit.

"I have two friends who are very reliable and have worked for places such as Kotaku and PC Gamer," the user wrote on Reddit. "They relayed this information to me. I also have a very dear friend who works for Rockstar, he wont confirm the details, but he wont deny them either."

This was followed by a lengthy bullet point list of details.

The key details, however, appear to be that the game is set in both Vice City and a new fictional city based on Rio de Janeiro. It's set between 1970s/1980's presumably over a long period of time.

It's also "Heavily inspired by Netflix's Narcos" and coming to next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Sounds awesome if true, but as we stated at the beginning, get that salt at the ready. Keep reading for the full, blow by blow, bullet point list of 'leaked' info.

GamesRadar also references a separate leak overnight from Fireden, supposedly from someone "involved in the acting/recording process"

Again, get those trucks of salt at the ready:

  • The game is set back in Liberty City, modern day.
  • The plot in the beginning oRead More – Source
