Fortnite Search A Chest in Week 7: Pleasant Park, Retail Row, Lucky Landing Map Locations
Fortnite Week 7 Challenges are about to drop any minute, but inn a change to the usual procedure, Epic Games has updated the previously leaked challenges,
Earlier this week players believed that they would need to search chests in Lucky Landing. A pretty standard challenge that has appeared on more than one occaisions for various points of interest around the map for past weeks.
But since the 5.3 Update, Epic Games have removed the challenge in favour of this: "Stage 1: Search a Chest in Pleasant Park (0/1)"
Stage 1 would suggest this challenge is part of a series of tasks players will be given and according to one dataminer, Fortnite Leakage, this challenge will have multiple stages.
So players will first need to search for a chest in Plesant Park before moving onto Retail Row, Lucky Landing, then Greasy Grove, and finally Paradise Palms.
We'll be honest. No one is 100% sure whilst the challenges aren't live but we should find out soon enough at 2pm BST.
And when they do go live, you can rest assured we'll update you to confirm everything you need to do for this variation on the normal Chest Challenge.

How to Search for Chests in a named location
As the below map from Metabomb proves, cheats aren't exactly in short supplied across the Fortnite Map (even if this is an old Map).
But in the case of this challenge and numerous past weekly challenges that ask you to get chests from a specific named location, it's sort of more tricky. Well kind of.
This is normally because you normally have to compete with so many players instinctively dropping down into the same area as soon as a new weekly challenge becomes available. All fighting over the same chest.
So, knowing where to look before can be quite handy.

Generally speaking, if you drop into a named location, for example, Lucky Landing, you'll find the majority of chests hidden in the roof of a building.
There's always more dotted throughout a location, in rooms, in basements and more.
But the roof is normally a solid place to start, so land quick, get out that pickaxe and get hacking.
Equally, you'll normally know when a chest is near because it will emit the normal, erm, glowy sparkling sound. You might spot them too at a distance thanks to the orange/yellow glow as well.

- Follow the treasure map found in Pleasant Park HARD (1)
