Fortnite has a new update and it includes Party Hub for mobile users, changes to the endgame, and the return of ziplines.

The last update for Fortnite was the massive v10.30 patch but while this weeks is a lot smaller scale theres still some useful additions.

Whats new in Battle Royale?

Party Hub

The main new feature is the addition of Party Hub for mobile. Hang with friends while youre on the go, so the party never stops, says the patch notes

With the Party Hub you can see whos online, party up and play together while everyone is hanging out on the bus. Or maybe you just want to voice chat for a while, its up to you.

You need to have Fortnite installed on your mobile to use this function but you dont have to be in a match to chat with your friends. At this time, you can use only voice chat but they are working on a messaging service for the future.

You can also meet up on the Party Hub and then transfer the entire group to a different platform such as PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Its time to mobilize.

The v10.31 update releases today. Downtime is expected to begin at 4 AM ET (0800 UTC).

Storm Changes

Epic has adjusted where the final storm ends to prevent it from being in one of the Rift Zones with unusual rules or mechanics, which made matches unfair for people that werent used to them.

The patch now ensures the storm will not end in Moisty Palms, Greasy Grove, Tilted Town or Retail Row.

Players can still land in these locations on startup, but the final climactic end to the battle royale game will no longer be in these locations.
