Fortnite Season 9 is coming to an end very soon, but before we get to the latest event or even the teasers for Season 10, Epic Games has one last prize for fans.

As with some past seasons, Epic Games are releasing Overtime Challenges. These are normally used to keep fans busy after Week 10 on those occasional Season's that run for 12 weeks.

For those who don't know what on earth we're talking about, here's a bit more info, courtesy of the experts over at FortniteInsider:

"In Season 7, the first 12 week season, Epic introduced overtime challenges, so players still had something to do if theyd completed all of the weekly challenges. Season 8 also had overtime challenges, but there were only 7 challenges to complete. Upon completing particular overtime challenges in previous seasons, players were rewarded with different skin styles from the Battle Pass."

So in short, more challenges, more rewards, more skin styles to unlock. Just generally stuff to do whilst you wait for the new season to drop on August 1st.

The overtime challenges don't have an official start date just yet.

However with the last week of Season 9 Challenges releasing last Thursday in week 10, we would wager a guess that the Overtime Challenges will start tomorrow, Thursday, July 17th.

The final Fortbyte unlocks today as well, so we believe there's a good chance that the Overtime challenges will unlock at the same 2pm BST time slot.

Keep reading and you can take a look at all of the Fortnite Overtime Challenges leaked so far.
