Fortnite NFL Skins: Item shop release date, time, V-Bucks Cost for NEW Epic Games download (Pic: EPIC)

Earlier this week, Fortnite PR exec Nick Chester has confirmed that there will be three male NFL skins and three female NFL skins coming to the game'

Epic announced the new cosmetic items at the start at the week and revealed you can customise the skins with numbers once they go live.

The brand new Fortnite X NFL collaboration skins are due to be released on later today – Friday 9 November.

Thanks to time zone discrepancies, though, we're expecting to see the skins release at 00:00 on Saturday, November 10 in the UK. So if you want these skins as soon as physically possible, make sure you're online and logged in at midnight tonight.

The female versions of the skins are labelled "Blitz", "Rush", "Interceptor" and "Juke" whilst the male equivalents are known as "End Zone", "Spike", "Strong Guard" and "Gridiron".

But how much will each individual item cost? The referee outfits are uncommon, which means they'll cost 800 V-bucks. The main NFL skins are slightly more expensive and fall under the Epic category, which means they'll cost 1,500 V-bucks.

"It's really cool — three male skins you can buy, three female, and then you can customize them any time you want (with your own number)," Chester has tweeted.

You can check out a trailer showing off the skins in the video below – they look a bit different to what we're used to and we're happy to see some changes in the game.

Epic has noted that the NFL skins can be swapped to any of the 32 National Football League teams in the NFL, so no matter where your loyalty lies you can rep your team.

The official announcement from the developer notes:

"We're excited to announce that Fortnite and the NFL are teaming up for the ultimate football face-off.

"Starting November 9 at 7PM ET you'll be able to purchase NFL themed Outfits from the Fortnite Item Shop.

"Each Outfit can be swapped to any of the thirty-two NFL teams, plus an additional unique Fortnite team."

Epic concludes: "We couldn't be more excited to cross the NFL and Fortnite worlds!"
