Fans are rejoicing over Epic Games removing the unpopular B.R.U.T.E mech from Fortnite.

Epic Games has temporarily removed the controversial vehicle from all playlists, both casual and competitive.

The mech added in Season X is widely disliked; it has been considered by fans to be too overpowered and drastically changes the flow of the game, as it possesses massive amounts of health and causes devastating damage.

Fans over the months have been demanding the removal of B.R.U.T.E with the hashtag #RemovetheMech trending on Twitter. Epic Games have not budged on their stance that the mech is fun for players who have never tasted victory in a battle royale game.

Keep it out this time, thanks.

However, Epic have paid some attention and slowly tweaked the B.R.U.T.E stats to make it less of a threat in-game. The mech has been removed once before, due to a bug that caused players to take extra damage from its powerful stomp attack, but to the dismay of many, it returned.

Epic Games have not yet revealed the reasons why it has been taken out on this occasion, but at this time we dont think casuals and pros truly mind and will probably enjoy the reprieve.
