Fortnite Season 7 is now three weeks in and if you've not been able to catch up with the latest season due to work, friends and family, the holiday period is now the perfect opportunity to catch up.

As such, it seems as good a point as ever to quickly rattle through some of the harder challenges of the season so far for a quick refresher to bring you up to speed.

As always, there are seven challenges to complete, with three available to take on for free, whilst the other four challenges are only available to those who have purchased the Season 7 Battle Pass.

Obviously, most weeks will contain your weekly staples of finding chests, eliminating opponents and so for. Most of these you should be able to complete without any help whatsoever so we've not listed them below.

But every week there's usually one or two of those unique challenges which require a little more explanation or help. Those you'll find underneath with some helpful tips.

So keep reading for a quick refresher, also including one of the more interesting challenges from the 'Extra' 14 Days of Fortnite event which is currently ongoing as of Week 3.

Fortnite Season 7 Week 3 – 14 Days of Fortnite:

Players only need to find and visit two candy canes to complete today's challenge, but thankfully, there's not three as we first thought, there's FOUR!

Big thanks to Fortnite Insider for steering us in the right direction.

One can be found just north of Frosty Flights, but still within the B8 square on the map. It's a top of the big snow mountain so you should see it.

The Second can be found on another mountain just south west of Fatal Fields. On the map this is the very top left corner of the F9 Square.

A third Candy cane is north of the wailing woods, again, on top of yet another small mountain at it's highest peak. This is the I2 square on the map.

This fourth location is just northeast of shifty shafts on the top of the hill. You can also find their map image just below to help make your challenge even easier.

Good luck!

Fortnite Season 7 Week 3 Challenges

Search Between Three Ski Lodges Challenge

When you drop off the Battle Bus, you're going to want to navigate to the C9 co-ordinate.

On the map near Polar Peak, you can see three cabins. Imagine drawing a triangle with them – the center point is mid-left in C9.

Put a waypoint on your map to help. There will be an area covered in snow-topped trees – the Battle Star should be available in that area.

Play the Sheet Music on the pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge

This is the harder challenge of week 2, if maybe not in name as you'll only earn 5 battle stars. However, you need to watch your back when attempting to play the sheet music on the pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge.

Unlike in Season 6, when you needed to locate the sheet music first, players will now find the sheet music already with the giant piano.

So find the giant piano, play the notes in the right order and you're done.

You'll find one outside Pleasant Park (the same location as Season 6) to the west up a mountain. This is B3 on the map for those checking coordinates.

Once you find it, you have to play the following keys in order to complete step one of the challenge: E, G, C, D, and E

The second piano you need to play can then be found near Lonely Lodge. You want to go South East from the lodge towards the cliff edge.

This time though, the notes are much longer, so watch your back whilst you hit the following keys: C, C, C, F, F, F, E, F, G, A, A#, G, and A.

Compete in a Dance Off at an abandoned mansions

First off you need to find the abandoned mansion, and you'll find that on the map in the J5 coordinates.

It's on the eastern most part of the map somewhere between Lonely Lodge and the Paradise Palms race track.

Once you find the mansion, head in and go downstairs to the basement and that's where you'll find the dance-off floor. It looks a bit like a tennis court too.

Anyway, You might need to wait for another player to join you and dance with you. Let's just hope no one shoots you before you get the chance to complete the challenge.

Otherwise maybe attempt the challenge in a squad game so you have a friend to help you.

Fortnite Season 7 Week 1 Challenges:

Dance in Different Forbidden Locations Challenge

We now know the full locations of where the forbidden dance locations are.

Luckily, the YouTuber HarryNinetyFour has been kind enough to pull together a guide showing all locations, which you can watch just above. Although there's also a list of the locations below which you can use to tick off each spot as well.

Remember as with all the challenges you need to finish the game for it to count.

Forbidden Dance locations –

  1. One at the very tip of the new iceberg snow area, south of Frosty Flights.
  2. Another on the new ice section in B9 on the map grid, again south of Frosty Flights. It's next to a little purple tent.
  3. On top of a hill next to some ziplines. South of Dusty Divot and north of Salty Springs.
  4. The mountain mentioned previously that's found on C5 on the map grid. North West of Tilted towers.
  5. Junk Junction, next to the big metal Llama.
  6. At Lazy Links, under the pavilion out on the water.
  7. A hill at the midsection of Tomato Temple, Risky Reels and Wailing Woods. It's H3 on the map grid.

Stage 1: Dance on top of a crown of RV's Challenge

This is relatively simple. First, you'll need to head to the bottom right corner of the map – H9 if you're looking at the map coordinates from above.

In the top right corner of the square, in Paradise Palms, you'll notice one rocky outcrop is taller than the others.

The outcrop has a circle of RVs embedded in the rock – you simply need to land (or get ) in the middle of the vehicles and start dancing. Step one of the challenge will be complete.

For Stage 2, you need to dance on a metal turtle, which is found near Lonely Lodge (J4). Again, land on top, have a boogie with your best dancing emote and you'll unlock the final stage.

To complete the challenge entirely you need to dance on a Submarine, which is found in the new snowy area (B8). Again, dance on the Submarine and it's over.
