Fortnite 14 Days of Summer Release date, start time, Challenges, Rewards, LTM schedule (Pic: EPIC GAMES)

Last week a leaked confirmed a new event coming to Fortnite, in the shape of Fortnite 14 Days of Summer.

It's a lot like the 14 days of Fortnite event from back in December. Only the Winter theme has been replaced with something more Summery to reflect the time of year.

Epic Games has this afternoon confirmed that the 14 Days of Summer event has a June 25 release date, likely arriving tomorrow after the release of the games next 9.31 Content Update.

Epic hasn't supplied an official start time for the 14 Days of Summer event, but we suspect that it'll be live as soon as the latest update has finished rolling out.

That said, whilst we think the new LTM schedule will be live right away, we suspect that the new challenges and rewards will go live at 2pm BST, like most of the games new daily content.

Just look at how every new fortbyte is released at 2pm on the dot.

"Heya folks, its time to soak up some rays during Fortnites 14 Days of Summer," reads an Epic post. "Each day, drop into Fortnite for something new."

Epic has also confirmed that each day in Battle Royale will see the following changes:

  • A weapon unvaulted for 24 hours only.
  • A new LTM to play (check out the full selection of LTMs that will debuting below).
  • A daily challenge and free reward.
  • New outfits and more in the Item Shop.

Creative mode players will also see a new featured island daily, whilst Save the world players be able to complete a new quest every day. Epic also added when discussing Save the World: "Complete quests to earn heaps of Summer Tickets; complete all 14 to unlock a new explosive weapon!"

You can see the full list of challenges and rewards below, along with a list of the LTM events confirmed to release, although they won't happen in the order listed (it's random).
