Fortnite punters would surely be keen to get their hands on the latest update, released tomorrow, which will include a funky driftboard.

Were getting all kinds of Back To The Future references with this one, as Epic Games updated their popular Battle Royale game mode with the new items in a teaser for this weeks latest renewal.

According to Fornite Insider, a description of the item read: Hop on board and boost past your competition with this new single player vehicle!

Along with it, was a pretty telling image of a hoverboard, sorry, Driftboard, in the usual Fortnite cartoon style.

When can gamers get their mits on the new offering, you ask?

According to the site, the Driftboard – that is sure to have Biff Tannen seething with jealousy – will be added in the upcoming v7.10 update.

This little refresh will also apparently include a switch up to the Stormwing plane, with the damage to players in a plane upon explosion doubling from 25 to 50.

Which is quite the epic jump…from Epic.

Its suggested the gaming platform will also address a number of bugs with the zipline, which is good news to anyone who got tangled in that palaver.

Fortnites v7.10 update will be landing on screens tomorrow according to those in the know.

It comes after Fortnite developer Epic Games admitted it was wrong in creating the Infinity Blade, a weapon so strong that it made the user virtually invincible, and has now removed it from the game.

The weapon was known to replace the entire inventory of the user, allowing them to cause absolute destruction.

It had two main features that players could use, a sword slash that could deal 75 damage to players as well as destroy structures, and the alternate fire let players leap great distances which also destroyed objects that were in their patch.

Fortnite has since been quick to backtrack after rolling out the Mythic weapon, apologising to fans in a statement over Twitter. Heya folks, We messed up and rolled out the Infinity Blade overpowered / without good counters, especially in the end game, a statement from the official Fortnite Twitter read.
