Fallout 76 will be offline today, with servers going down for the for the online-only multiplayer game.

This is so Bethesda can bring the title up to its latest version on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

"We are planning to bring #Fallout76 offline around 10:00am EDT tomorrow, March 26th, across all platforms for maintenance," wrote Bethesda in a tweet last night.

During this time, you will be unable to log into or play Fallout 76 – and the company hasn't revealed how long the title will be offline for either.

The game will be going offline at 2pm on March 16, 2019 for an undetermined amount of time.

We'll update you as we hear more.

We know that this update will introduce Survival Mode into the game – in its beta form – on all platforms. The new mode will be available as a separate option in the main menu, and removes any restrictions to player-vs-player combat.

"In Survival, its open season on other dwellers!" reads a Bethesda post.

"You can still quest, explore, and loot as you please, but you can also attack other players without restriction. Theres just one catch—they can freely attack you, as well.

"Youll need to be cunning if you choose to go on the hunt, because other players wont appear on your map unless they are Wanted or one of the top three players on the Longest Life scoreboards."
