Fallout 76 Update Maintenance: Patch Notes, Server Status Latest – When is it back online? (Pic: BETHESDA)

Fallout 76 is currently offline with servers unavailable for the online-only multiplayer game.

This is so Bethesda can release the games latest update for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Fallout 76 servers went offline at 3pm BST but it's unclear how long the game will be offline whilst Bethesda perform maintenance on the game.

The new update will be under 3 GB for consoles and 1 GB for PC.

Usually, these updates have taken several hours, so if you had plans to play the game, you may want to put those thoughts on hold until later tonight or tomorrow.

What does this new 10.5 update do?

"Patch 10.5 is arriving to #Fallout76 today, and it includes a host of bug fixes for all game modes, as well as a few design adjustments for the #NuclearWinter Beta," explained the official Bethesda Softworks Twitter account.

Additionally, with this patch, Nuclear Winter has leveled-up from “Pre-Beta” to “Beta.”

Bethesda has promised to let fans know as soon as the game comes back online, but that as we mentioned could be quite a way off.

For now, you can fill your time by dissecting the new patch notes released by the developers.

Stay tuned for more details.
