Friends of Prince Harry and his new bride Meghan have been sharing their photos of the big day in Windsor.

Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra was among the stars posting images from Saturday including of their outfits and the groups they were in.

On Instagram she thanked her good friend, the new Duchess of Sussex and her prince.

Chopra wrote: "Every once in a while there is a moment when time stands still.. that happened today..

"You my friend.. were the epitome of grace, love and beauty. Every choice made at this wedding by you both will go down in history, not just because it was your wedding but because this incredible wedding stood for change and hope.

"Both things that the world needs desperately. Thank you for being the perfect picture of all things good.. seeing your union and love blessed in front of my eyes Made me so happy.. and tear up! I wish you both love happiness and togetherness always."

Meanwhile, Australian actress Jacinda Barrett, who used to appear in Suits, posted several images of her with husband Gabriel Macht, as well as a group shot of the Suits cast travelling to the wedding on a bus.

She said of the big day: "We have loved sharing this extraordinary moment with you and the rest of the world."

Ricke Hoffman, a regular in Suits who has also been in numerous other US TV shows, posted a video on Instagram that showed guests chatting after the ceremony.

Star of Suits and Pretty Little Liars, Troian Bellisario, posted a picture of herself and her husband, Suits actor Patrick J Adams.

Bellisario said: "Weddings are a joyous occasion. But today was just off the charts amazing. Congratulations Meghan and Harry.

"I am so grateful I got to witness your love today. There are many happy years to come."

And one of Meghan's best friends, fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney, shared a snap of herself with her husband Ben, and said it had been a "magical weekend".

Meanwhile, British actor and Luther star Idris Elba posted a photo of him and his fiancee Sabbi Dhowre heading to the wedding.

And the wife of Harry and Meghan's photographer Giada Lubomirski, whose husband Alexi took the pictures released by Kensington Palace on Monday, also put out a picture which could have been his other photos for the day.
