E3 2019: 5 New Family-Friendly VR Games for your PS4 VR and Oculus headset (Pic: PH)

E3 2019 is not only packed with games, but its also packed with VR titles.

With so many great-looking games to choose from, and the first ever VR showcase at this year's E3, we've chosen a selection of the cute, adorable, family-friendly VR titles that should be on your radar this year.

Fujii

Fujii was the very first trailer we saw during the E3VR Showcase. Its a cute, colourful platformer, described by the developers as a “mystical, musical journey.”

Coming this month, June 27th, to Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and Steam, Fujii even supports the upcoming Valve Index and Valve Knuckles! Theres no official pricetag yet, but we wont have to wait long to see how this relaxing VR experience turns out.

The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets

Fast Travel Games has clearly got a busy year ahead of them, not only collaborating on Budget Cuts 2, but also working on their own IP: The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets. Described as a “heartwarming interactive tale”, this cute puzzler is reminiscent of Captain Toad: Treasure tracker, with its miniature worlds and puzzle elements.

We only have a release window of 2019 so far, but The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets will be released on all Oculus headsets, as well as all other PCVR headsets and PSVR.

Angry Birds Movie 2 VR

Angry Birds titles have always been popular with a younger generation, and Angry Birds Movie 2 VR looks like it will be no exception to that rule. It will be exclusive to the PSVR, however, but its set for a “Summer 2019” release window – likely to release around the same time as the Angry Birds 2 movie in August.

Acron – Attack of the Squirrels!

Acron is certainly one of the more unique VR titles coming in 2019. This VR vs Mobile arcade game will be playable on iOS and Android devices, as well as all Oculus headsets and Steam. Coming in Summer 2019, this looks like the perfect game to settle squabbles between whose turn it is to use the headset.

Using their phones, everyone can get involved in the cartoony fun.
