Downton Abbey star Allen Leech is a married man.

The Irish actor has walked down the aisle with actor Jessica Blair Herman in a romantic ceremony in Santa Barbara, California on Saturday, reports Hello!

The exchange of vows reportedly took place on an exclusive estate with the likes of Michelle Dockery and Dan Stevens there.

Sounds like something out of Downton.

Guests also included Glee stars Lea Michele and Darren Criss, as well as Golden Globe nominee Rami Malek – who plays Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody alongside Allen, who portrays Freddies manager Paul Prenter.

The couple – who have been together for two years – revealed their engagement last February when the popular actor wrote: Happy Valentines Day @jessicablairherman First one as a fiance! Thank you for saying yes and for making me the happiest.

Jessica also shared a post of the pair kissing, captioning it: The day you proposed was one of the best days but every day with you is my favourite. I love you! Happy Valentines Day @therealleech!

Allen, who played Tom Branson in the ITV period drama is returning to the role when the movie version is released later this year.

Jessica starred in US shows including Modern Family and American Crime Story.

Allen and Jessica began dating in 2016, following his split from Sky Sports presenter Charlie Webster.
