Dog The Bounty Hunters daughter Bonnie has posted a heartfelt tribute to her father after he was rushed to hospital following a possible heart attack.

The TV star was taken to a Colorado hospital on Monday after suffering what is reported to be a heart emergency that may require surgery.

It comes just three months after his wife, Beth Chapman, died at the age of 51 following a cancer battle.

As Dog, 66, continues to receive medical care, his daughter Bonnie, 20, shared a sweet throwback photo of her as a young child with her dad, Beth and two other siblings pictured together.

Love you, pops, Bonnie wrote with a heart emoji.

Dogs reps confirmed to Metro.co.uk that the reality star is resting in hospital comfortably.

A spokesperson said in a statement: I can confirm Dog is under doctors care and is resting comfortably.

TMZ reported that Dog had been taken to hospital after experiencing chest pains. Its claimed doctors were deciding whether he would need corrective surgery after the possible heart attack and were awaiting results.

Dog, real name Duane Chapman, has been mourning the death of his beloved wife Beth on 22 June, whom he had been with on and off since 1986.

Revealing how hes been coping after her death, Dog recently said hes lost a significant amount of weight after losing his appetite due to his grief.

I cant eat. Two bites, Im full. I got to force-feed myself like I force-fed her, Dog explained.

He also revealed how its difficult to watch Beths battle with cancer in the latest season of their hit TV series, Dogs Most Wanted.

Usually my production company goes over the first cut and then we make suggestions. This time I didnt get involved.

It was a little too hard. Im going to be watching it like everyone else for the first time.
