After Destiny 2's Weekly Reset at 5PM GMT today, the Week 5 Ascendant Challenge will be replaced by Week 6. Keep reading below the video for the full Ascendent Challenge Week 6 guide.
Destiny 2s Forsaken bought with it plenty of content, but heres one you may have missed: every weekly reset (5pm GMT on Tuesday), a new Ascendant Challenge will appear in the Dreaming City. Read on to find out where youll battle this weeks tricky enemies in your hunt for POWERFUL GEAR.
With six challenges rotating weekly, this weeks is WEEK 6.
As with all of these challenges, youll need to get your hands on some “Tincture of Queensfoil”. This catchily-named consumable can be found by completing events like patrols, public events, bounties or simply opening chests in The Dreaming City. You can also buy some from Huginn, a secret vendor which is actually a skull found to the north of the map – these cost 50 Baryon Boughs.
Dont forget, death will throw you back to the Dreaming City – so make sure youre prepared!
Week 6s challenge is found in the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector, which is near Rheasilva. The video below from Arekkz should guide you there.
The Portal can be found in a large room where you'll find a couple of Taken snipers. Dont forget, youll need to use your “Tincture of Queensfoil” to allow you to see the Portal. It'll take you to the Cimmerian Garrison.
This week's challenge is full of movement and enemies, so Hunters may be able to use their more manoeuvrable characters to their advantage.
Fight (or avoid) enemies until you reach a glowing orb. This will light the way through various rotating platforms.

Eventually, you'll find a Taken Knight flanked by Shriekers. The Knight is the key here, so avoid or dodge the Shriekers where possible (easier said than done).
During the fight, more enemies will try and nudge you off of the platform so be mindful of your surroundings.
Once you've reached the platform with two Knights, your job is simple – destroy them both.
