Conor Maynards run in Kinky Boots starts in less than a week and we could not be more ready.

The singer and YouTube star is set to don the trademark red thigh-high boots, starring as Charlie Price in the Broadway show.

Clearly as excited as we are, Kinky Boots tweeted: The COUNTDOWN TO CONOR begins!

Starting on 19 November, the 25-year-old will join the cast at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.

I am honored and beyond excited to be able to join the incredible company of Kinky Boots, Conor said in a statement.

Ive always truly admired the talent that performers on Broadway possess, and performing alongside them is going to be a real challenge. Im so lucky to have the most devoted fans on the planet, and I cant wait to show them another side of me.

Announcing the news in a YouTube video to his eight million fans, Conor said that the opportunity was a result of the support his audience had given him over the years.

So theyre going to let me sing my own songs in the actual show? he joked.

To be honest, we wouldnt even be mad.

Conor will take over from Mark Ballas, and is set to star alongside J. Harrison Ghee as Lola, Carrie St. Louis as Lauren, Daniel Stewart Sherman as Don, Caroline Bowman as Nicola, and Marcus Neville as George.

Although the show will end its run on 7 April 2019, itll still be the 25th longest running show in Broadway history.

Singing and acting arent Conors only talents though, as back in August, he revealed that he wrote a song for K-Pop band BTS.

So since I see a lot of you tweeting about it.. basically I went in the studio with my friend and we wrote a song for @BTS_twt which we sent off, then a few weeks later he called me saying they were using it. I havent heard their version yet but I cant wait! he tweeted.

Conor is also said to have written for Liam Payne and hes previously written for Rita Ora.
